About me / Outi Penttila

Interior Designer · Stylist · Creative Soul

With over 20 years in the creative industry, I bring a grounded yet imaginative approach to interiors—blending layered textures, thoughtful functionality, and a touch of the unexpected. My background in fashion, visual storytelling, and styling for brands like Barker & Stonehouse has shaped my instinctive eye for detail and design.

Originally trained at Cordwainers College (BA Hons, Design, Marketing & Product Development), I began in fashion and visual merchandising before discovering my true passion in interior. This journey started in Barker and Stonehouse working as a Interior Stylist which then led me to study Interior Design and did online course which gave me Level 3 Diploma

Now based in Loughton, Essex, I run Outi Penttila Interiors—a design studio rooted in curiosity, character, and beauty with purpose. I help clients transform homes into meaningful spaces that reflect who they are and how they want to live.
